Easter Celebrations

This week we have been celebrating Easter! We have enjoyed a visit from the Easter Bunny who left us lots of eggs to find. The were hidden in lots of different paces around the playground. We had to search over, under, around, behind, inside and in between. We all got a little Easter treat to take home :).

We created Easter cards to give to people who are special to us. We looked at different patterns and used a range of materials to design our egg. We were really pleased with how the children’s name writes have progressed, and they’re starting to learn their phonemes.

We melted chocolate to make rice crispy nests. We could tell the chocolate had changed from a solid to a liquid. We used different toppings to finish our nests.

We all tried hot cross buns and listened to the Easter Story. We learnt that we celebrate Easter because Christians believe it is the day that Jesus was resurrected.

We hope you all enjoyed joining us for egg rolling! We loved seeing all the different decorations on your eggs. You all showed great team spirit and sportsmanship. Well done to our winners!

We hope you all have a wonderful Easter and enjoy your break. See you on the 15th of April. If you would still like a time for Parent Chats (September School Starters) please email Miss Beeching at lauren.beeching@springbank.academy and I will text you the closest available time to what you have requested on the Monday morning.

Our tadpoles are getting bigger. We will keep you updated on their progress.
